We are dependent on public-private funding for carrying out our work. To solicit donations, we are bound by all existing rules and regulations implemented by the Govt. of India and Govt of West Bengal regarding our donor community. We respectfully request that you provide your information at the time of the donation so that we remain compliant with regulations under which we operate as a non-governmental organization (NGO). We are also required under those guidelines to be audited annually so that our inflow of income matches the outflow. We are exploring working with a third-party vendor who can record transactions on our behalf.
